Exterior Security Door Factory-Direct Supply
Steel exterior security doors built for perimeter access control — not decorative hardware dressed up as security. 1.2mm+ SPCC cold-rolled steel body, multi-point locking, CE certified, 60+ powder coat finishes. Every unit inspected before it loads.

What Makes an Exterior Security Door Different from a Standard Entry Door
The distinction matters commercially. A standard steel entry door is designed for weather resistance and basic access control — 0.8mm body panels, a single-point mortise lock, and a frame that's adequate for normal residential or light commercial use. An exterior security door is engineered around forced-entry resistance: heavier gauge steel throughout the body and frame, multi-point locking that distributes load across the full door height, reinforced hinge pockets, and anti-pry edge profiles that eliminate the gap a crowbar needs to get purchase.
We build this product for buyers who are supplying markets where that distinction is non-negotiable — residential developers in the Middle East and North Africa where security door specifications are written into building codes, contractors fitting out commercial premises in high-crime urban environments, and distributors whose downstream customers have already been burned by doors that looked secure but failed under pressure.
The exterior positioning here is specific: this door is designed for the building perimeter, exposed to weather, attempted forced entry, and daily high-cycle use. Interior security doors are a different product with different engineering priorities — see our interior security door if that's your application.

Heavier Gauge Steel
1.2mm+ SPCC body and frame — not the 0.8mm panels common in standard entry doors.
Multi-Point Locking
Load distributed across full door height — not a single-point mortise that concentrates stress.
Reinforced Hinges
Welded backing plates on both door and frame sides — eliminates hinge pull-out on high-traffic entrances.
Anti-Pry Edge Profile
Eliminates the gap a crowbar needs — the detail that separates a security door from a secure-looking door.
Steel Specifications and Construction: What's Actually Inside
The body panel on our standard exterior security door runs at 1.2mm SPCC cold-rolled steel. We run the door frame at the same gauge — a detail that matters because a lot of manufacturers spec a heavy door leaf and then put it in a 0.8mm frame, which is where the door actually fails under forced entry.
The frame is the anchor point for the multi-point lock bolts; if the frame deflects, the lock doesn't hold regardless of how good the hardware is.
Internal reinforcement is a welded steel skeleton — horizontal and vertical stiffeners inside the door cavity, not just a foam fill. The lock block area gets a dedicated steel reinforcement plate, typically 3mm, welded in place before the door skin goes on. Hinge pockets are reinforced with welded backing plates on both the door and frame sides. (We added the frame-side hinge reinforcement after seeing field reports from a Gulf distributor whose installers were dealing with hinge pull-out on high-traffic commercial entrances — the door leaf was fine, the frame wasn't.)
The door cavity fill is polyurethane foam injection, which serves two purposes: it eliminates the hollow resonance that signals cheap construction to your downstream customers, and it adds meaningful thermal insulation for climate-controlled buildings. Standard overall door thickness is 70mm, with 86mm available for higher-security configurations.
Why Frame Gauge Matters as Much as Door Leaf Gauge
A lot of manufacturers spec a heavy door leaf and then put it in a 0.8mm frame. The frame is the anchor point for the multi-point lock bolts. If the frame deflects, the lock doesn't hold — regardless of how good the hardware is. Our standard spec runs both leaf and frame at 1.2mm SPCC.

Get a Detailed Spec SheetLock and Hardware Configuration: Where Security Actually Lives
The lock system is the most commercially sensitive spec decision on this product. We supply three standard configurations — the right choice depends on your target market's expectations and the downstream customer's threat model.
3-Bolt Multi-Point Lock
One deadbolt at mid-height, two hook bolts engaging the frame at top and bottom. Meets entry-level security door standards in most Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets.
- Right spec for volume residential projects where cost per unit matters
- Residential and light commercial applications
- Entry-level security door standards compliance
5-Bolt Multi-Point Lock
Adds two additional deadbolts, distributing the forced-entry load across five engagement points on the frame. The configuration we recommend for commercial premises and ground-floor urban installations.
- Satisfies EN 1627 RC2 and above (European security door standards)
- For buyers selling on security performance rather than price
- Commercial premises and ground-floor urban installations
Electronic / Smart Lock Integration
We pre-install the lock block and wiring conduit for electronic lock systems on request. The door ships ready for your buyer's preferred lock brand — we don't supply the electronic lock itself, giving your buyer flexibility to specify the access control system they're already using.
- Significant request from Southeast Asian hotel and serviced apartment buyers
- Compatible with any access control system your buyer specifies
- Lock block and wiring conduit factory pre-installed

Powder Coating and Surface Finish: Margin Protection for Coastal and High-Humidity Markets
The finish is where a lot of security door suppliers lose margin for their buyers — a door that arrives with bubbling or peeling powder coat generates warranty claims and return freight costs that eat the profit on the original sale.
Film Thickness: 60–80μm
Our automated electrostatic powder coating line applies 60–80μm film thickness consistently across the full panel surface, including recessed profiles and edge returns.
Zinc Phosphate Pre-Treatment
Before powder goes on, every door body goes through a zinc phosphate pre-treatment bath — this is the step that determines long-term adhesion, and it's where cheaper lines cut corners. The zinc phosphate creates a conversion coating at the steel surface that the powder bonds to chemically, not just mechanically.
500-Hour Salt Spray Test
The result passes a 500-hour salt spray test — the threshold for coastal market installations and the spec most North American and European buyers need for their own product warranties.

Request Color Samples or Finish Specification SheetWoodgrain Transfer Film Fastest-Growing Option
Applied over the powder coat base, woodgrain transfer film gives the door a timber appearance while keeping the steel substrate. This finish has been our fastest-growing option for the past two years, particularly for buyers supplying residential developers who want security performance without the institutional look.
Market Segments: Where This Door Generates Repeat Orders
Four distinct buyer channels — each with different order profiles, documentation requirements, and repeat-order logic. Understanding which segment you're serving determines how you spec the product and structure the relationship.
Residential Development Projects
Mid-to-high-rise apartment buildings in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia typically specify security doors for every unit entrance. A 200-unit residential tower means 200 doors minimum, often with a consistent spec across the project.
- Developers under building code pressure to specify certified security doors
- CE documentation or equivalent required — we supply the full certification package with every order
- Repeat orders follow as the developer moves to the next phase
Commercial Premises Fit-Out
Retail units, office buildings, and mixed-use developments need security front doors for back-of-house access points, server rooms, and perimeter entrances. Smaller per project but contractor relationships are repeatable.
- A fit-out contractor who sources from you on one project will return if the product performs and documentation is clean
- 5-bolt multi-point lock configuration is the right spec for this segment
- Clean documentation package is the primary relationship-retention lever
Replacement and Renovation Market
This is the segment most distributors underestimate. Existing buildings in urban markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia have aging door stock being replaced under insurance requirements or security upgrade programs.
- Doesn't require project-scale MOQs — orders of 50–150 units are common
- Buyer is often a local hardware distributor or security contractor, not a developer
- Our 50-unit MOQ on standard models is sized for exactly this channel
Export to North American and Australian Distributors
Buyers in these markets are typically sourcing for the residential security upgrade segment: homeowners and small commercial operators replacing standard entry doors with security-rated alternatives.
- Key requirement is documentation — CE certification, SGS test reports, and a clear product specification
- Distributor needs to show documentation to their own customers — we supply the full package as standard
- Documentation quality is the primary barrier to entry in these markets — and our advantage
Customization: What You Can Specify, What Affects MOQ
Standard catalog models ship at 50-unit MOQ. Custom configurations start at 100 units — that's where the powder line changeover and any tooling adjustments make commercial sense for both sides.
Dimensions
50-unit MOQWidth adjustable from 800mm to 1200mm, height from 2000mm to 2400mm in standard increments. Non-standard dimensions are available on custom orders with a 15–20 working day lead time for first sample approval.
Steel Gauge
50-unit MOQStandard 1.2mm, heavy-duty 1.5mm. The 1.5mm spec adds approximately 15–20% to unit weight and 8–12% to unit cost.
Finish
50-unit standard 100-unit custom60+ RAL colors at standard MOQ. Custom RAL matching and woodgrain transfer film at 100-unit minimum. Two-tone finishes (different colors on interior and exterior faces) are available on custom orders.
Glass Panels
Standard sizesVision panels in tempered or laminated glass — standard sizes are 200×400mm and 300×600mm. For security applications, laminated glass with a security film interlayer is recommended: it significantly slows entry and eliminates the smash-and-reach vulnerability.
Hardware Upgrades
Factory-fittedElectronic lock pre-wiring, door closer, chain guard, and security bar are all available as factory-fitted options. Specifying hardware at the factory stage is cleaner than field installation and ensures the hardware is correctly positioned for the door's reinforcement structure.

Packaging, Container Loading, and Landed Cost
KD flat-pack format is what makes the container economics work. Here's what your freight team needs to know before running landed cost numbers.
KD Flat-Pack Format
Exterior security doors ship in KD (knock-down) flat-pack format: door leaf, frame sections, and hardware packed separately in reinforced double-wall cartons with foam corner protection.
The KD format is what makes the container economics work — an assembled pre-hung door wastes roughly 60% of container volume on air.

Batch Traceability
Every carton carries a barcode linked to our production batch record — production date, line number, inspection record, and material lot.
If there's a quality question on arrival, you can trace any unit back to its production data within minutes.
For buyers who need this for their own import compliance or warranty administration, batch records are available as part of the shipping documentation.
Lead Times
Custom lead times depend on engineering complexity and current line loading.
Certifications and Compliance Documentation
The certifications we hold on this product line — and what they mean for your import compliance, distribution channel requirements, and end-market approvals.
CE Marking
European conformity marking, covering structural performance and applicable EN standards. Required for import into EU member states and referenced by buyers in Gulf markets who use CE as a proxy for quality verification.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management system certification covering our full manufacturing process. The documented QC system is what backs the 100% pre-shipment inspection commitment.
SGS Audit
Third-party audit and product testing. SGS audit reports are available on request for buyers who need independent verification for their own import compliance files.
North American Market
Our doors are manufactured to be compatible with ANSI/SDI standards for steel door construction. If your project or distribution channel requires specific ANSI grade documentation, contact us — we can provide the relevant test data and work through the compliance requirements with you.
Local Market Standards
For buyers in markets with local security door standards — China GB 17565, European EN 1627, or equivalent national standards — send us the specific standard your market requires.
We'll confirm which configurations meet it and what documentation we can provide. We've worked through compliance requirements in enough markets that this is a routine conversation, not a special project.
CE marking, ISO 9001:2015 certificates, and SGS audit reports are available on request. For market-specific compliance requirements, contact us with the standard reference and we'll confirm coverage and available documentation.
Sourcing Decision FAQ
Answers to the specification and procurement questions that come up most often from importers, distributors, and project buyers.
What steel gauge should I specify for a commercial security door application?
For standard commercial premises — retail, office, light industrial — 1.2mm SPCC body and frame is the right spec. It meets the structural requirements for multi-point lock engagement and handles daily high-cycle use without deformation. For higher-risk applications (ground-floor urban commercial, cash handling premises, government facilities), specify 1.5mm with the 5-bolt lock configuration. The weight difference is meaningful for installation (75 kg vs. 95 kg for a standard single door), so factor that into your installer's labor cost.
What's the difference between your exterior security door and your heavy-duty security door?
The exterior security door is optimized for building perimeter access — weather resistance, multi-point locking, and a finish spec that handles outdoor exposure. The heavy-duty security door is built for higher forced-entry resistance ratings, with thicker steel throughout and hardware configurations that meet more demanding security standards. If your buyer is specifying to a security rating (EN 1627 RC3 or above, or equivalent), the heavy-duty product is the right conversation.
Can you supply CE documentation for import into EU or Gulf markets?
Yes. CE documentation ships with every order as standard. For Gulf market buyers who need additional documentation (SASO, GSO, or local municipality approvals), we can provide the underlying test reports and product data that those applications typically require — the approval process itself is the buyer's responsibility, but we supply the technical package.
What's the minimum order for a custom color or non-standard size?
Custom colors (RAL matching outside our standard 60+ palette) and non-standard dimensions both start at 100 units. Standard catalog sizes and colors ship at 50-unit MOQ. If you're testing a new market with a small initial order, we recommend starting with a standard configuration — you can move to custom specs once you've confirmed the volume.
How do you handle quality claims if doors arrive with defects?
Every unit is inspected before packing — 100% outgoing inspection, not statistical sampling. If a defect gets through (it happens, rarely), the barcode on the carton traces the unit back to its production batch and inspection record. We handle claims with replacement units or credit on the next order, depending on the defect type and your preference. The documentation trail means we can identify whether the issue is a production defect or transit damage, which matters for freight insurance claims.
