Warranty Coverage
EUWOO (Luoyang Huahui Door Industry Co., Ltd.) warrants all steel doors, fire doors, security doors, and commercial doors manufactured at our Luoyang facility against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions.
Standard Warranty Period
2 Years
from date of shipment
Structural components — door leaf, frame, and welded assemblies.
1 Year
from date of shipment
Hardware components — hinges, locks, closers — consistent with the warranty terms of the hardware sub-suppliers we use.
What Is Covered
- Structural defects in the door leaf or frame resulting from manufacturing — weld failures, panel deformation under normal load, dimensional non-conformance outside our stated ±0.5mm tolerance
- Powder coating adhesion failures not caused by installation damage, chemical exposure, or abrasion — our 60–80μm coating passes a 500-hour salt spray test, and failures within that threshold are a manufacturing defect
- Hardware pre-installed at our facility that fails under normal operating cycles within the warranty period
- Fire door assemblies that fail to meet the rated performance specifications documented in the accompanying test certificates
What Is Not Covered
- Damage occurring during shipping, port handling, or on-site installation — we pack to survive long-haul freight, but transit damage is a freight claim, not a product warranty claim
- Surface damage, scratches, or finish wear resulting from improper storage, handling, or installation practices
- Corrosion or coating failure caused by exposure to chemicals, salt spray beyond the rated threshold, or environments outside the product's specified application range
- Modifications made to the door or frame after shipment — cutting, welding, or drilling post-delivery voids the warranty on the affected area
- Normal wear on hardware components — lock cylinders, threshold seals, door sweeps — that are considered consumable parts
If you're unsure whether a specific failure mode falls inside or outside coverage, send us photos and the production batch number — we can usually give you a clear answer within 24 hours.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
We handle warranty claims directly. There is no third-party claims process — you contact our sales team, we review the evidence, and we resolve it.
Document the Defect
Photograph the defect clearly, including the full door unit, a close-up of the affected area, and the carton label or barcode. Every carton we ship carries a barcode linked to the production batch record, so we can trace the unit back to its production date, line, and inspection record. That traceability is what makes claims fast to resolve.
Submit the Claim
Email your documentation to [email protected] with the subject line:
Include:
- Order reference number or proforma invoice number
- Photos of the defect
- Carton barcode or batch number (printed on the carton label)
- Description of the defect and when it was discovered
- Quantity of affected units
Review and Resolution
We will acknowledge your claim within 2 business days and provide a resolution decision within 7 business days of receiving complete documentation.
For valid warranty claims, resolution options are:
- Replacement units shipped with your next order or as a standalone shipment, depending on quantity and urgency
- Credit note applied to your account for future orders
- Partial refund for claims where replacement is not practical
We do not require you to return defective units for standard warranty claims — photos and batch documentation are sufficient for most cases. For large-quantity claims or disputes, we may request a third-party inspection report.
Return Policy
Because our products are manufactured to order and shipped internationally, returns are handled differently from domestic retail transactions. The following conditions apply.
Eligible Returns
Returns are accepted in the following circumstances:
- Manufacturing defects confirmed by EUWOO — units that fail our quality standards and are confirmed defective through the warranty claim process
- Shipment errors — wrong SKU, wrong quantity, or wrong specification shipped due to our error, confirmed against the original purchase order
- Damage confirmed as pre-shipment — damage that can be demonstrated to have occurred before or during packing, based on photographic evidence and batch record review
Non-Eligible Returns
- Change-of-mind cancellations after production has commenced
- Orders where specifications were confirmed by the buyer and manufactured to those specifications — custom and OEM orders are non-returnable once production is complete
- Units damaged after delivery due to improper storage, handling, or installation
- Returns initiated more than 30 days after delivery without prior written agreement
Return Process
Do not ship product back without prior written authorization from EUWOO. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. To initiate a return, contact [email protected] with your order reference and the reason for return. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide return shipping instructions if the return is approved.
Return shipping costs for manufacturing defects or shipment errors are covered by EUWOO. Return shipping costs for other approved returns are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Order Cancellation
Before Production
Orders may be cancelled without penalty if production has not yet commenced. Contact us immediately at [email protected] — once materials are cut and the order enters the production queue, cancellation terms apply.
After Production Commences
Cancellations after production has started are subject to a cancellation fee covering materials consumed and production labor to date. The fee is calculated based on the stage of production at the time of cancellation request.
Custom & OEM Orders
Custom orders — including private-label, non-standard dimensions, and custom powder coat colors — cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, as these units cannot be redirected to other buyers.
Limitation of Liability
Scope of Liability
EUWOO's liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement, credit, or refund of defective units as described above. We are not liable for consequential damages, including but not limited to installation costs, project delays, lost profits, or downstream customer claims arising from product defects.
Our total liability under any warranty claim shall not exceed the invoice value of the affected units.
Warranty Beneficiary
This warranty is provided to the direct buyer of record — the importer, distributor, or contractor who placed the order with EUWOO — and is not transferable to end users or downstream customers.
Governing Terms
Jurisdiction & Arbitration
This warranty and return policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes arising from warranty or return claims that cannot be resolved through direct negotiation will be referred to arbitration in Luoyang, Henan, in accordance with applicable Chinese arbitration rules. For buyers in markets with specific statutory warranty rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.
Policy Updates
EUWOO reserves the right to update this policy. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
